Immanuel's Bio

My name is Immanuel and I am currently a junior at Illinois! I am majoring in Agricultural and Consumer Economics within the College of ACES. I am from the northwest suburbs of Chicago. On campus, I have been involved in several different things, from volunteering with Illini Fighting Hunger to working as a resident advisor. There is always something exciting to do!

I chose the University of Illinois because of everything it can offer its students. At the University of Illinois, students are given the chance to grow daily. Since my time here, I have been given many opportunities to grow and develop into the student, leader, and professional I desire to be.

Currently I am the president of a club on campus called MANRRS, which stands for Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences. This organization and other campus experiences have helped me to feel welcome within the university community. I hope that by blogging, I will be able to help you learn about the university and determine if this community is right for you.
