Charles's Bio
Hello! My name is Charles and I am Admissions Counselor here at Illinois. I am originally from Virginia, and lived in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Michigan before coming to the Undergraduate Admissions Office in the summer of 2008. In my spare time I love following college sports and I am a soccer fanatic. Additionally I have recently started running regularly, and in 2009 ran the half-marathon in the inaugural Illinois Marathon here in Urbana-Champaign.
Through this blog I hope I can provide some insight into the admissions process as well as offer some useful information and helpful tips. I know for many students the admissions process can at times be a little intimidating and stressful. However, we want to make the process go as smooth as possible and give you the information that you need. Throughout the year I'll be blogging with information for both prospective and admitted students; so check back in with our blogs throughout the year for the latest info.
