The 5 Apps That Will Save Your Life

While I’ve been here at the University of Illinois, I have discovered some truly amazing apps on my iPhone that I think everyone should look into.

My top 5 apps for school are as follows:

This app is great for finding events that are happening on and around campus for anyone who wants something fun to do! There is information about important events as well, including college-wide meetings and or presentations.

This is a personal favorite. Eat CU has a list of restaurants that will deliver on campus. This one comes in handy when I’m hungry around 2 AM in the middle of studying for a big exam. You would not believe how many restaurants will deliver in the middle of the night!

Order Up is another food delivery app (sorry, I’m thinking with my stomach). This app is a little different though because Order Up is used to have someone pick up your food from restaurants that do not normally deliver (i.e., Chipotle or Noodles and Co.). This app is a lifesaver!

The UIUC Dining Hall App is used to look at all the menus of University Housing all over campus. It’s especially helpful when you’re not a fan of what your hall is serving on a particular day. The only downfall to this app is that it does not include Private Certified Housing menus.

If you are anything like me, you have zero sense of direction. This app has saved my life so many times when I can’t figure out how to get to a certain building. I highly recommend it to the directionally challenged.
