MAP Grant Funding Suspends March 9!

Please fill out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid if you haven’t already!

Why should you complete the FAFSA as soon as possible? Because we learned today that if you’re an Illinois resident, it must be submitted on or before Wednesday, March 9 in order for you to be considered for the State of Illinois Monetary Award Program (MAP) Grant.

Repeat: If you’re an Illinois resident, fill out the FAFSA on or before Wednesday, March 9 to be considered for the MAP Grant for the 2016-2017 school year.

Keep in mind that the FAFSA assists students in multiple forms of need-based aid, including loans, work-study, and grants. The sooner your FAFSA is filled out, the more opportunities for aid consideration will be available!

Please call the Office of Student Financial Aid for any specific questions about about need-based aid, including your FAFSA or the MAP Grant.
