Scholarship Opportunity

Topics: Application, Financial Aid

I wanted to share information about a scholarship that I just learned about that is offered through the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.  This is not a scholarship through the University of Illinois, but a scholarship from an outside source.  This means a separate application would be required.

The name of the scholarship is the Nissan Community College Transfer Scholarship.  Students must reside in or attend a four year school in the following cities to be eligible:

-Chicago, Illinois Metropolitan area

-Denver, Colorado

-Los Angeles, California Metropolitan area

-Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

-San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan area

-Washington, DC

Good Luck!

Hi Kristin, I am an internaitonal student, and this will be my first time to go to America. I have booked a flight arriving at Chicago, but I do not know how to get to UIUC.
Moreover, I have three big luggage, do you know what I can do? Thank you very much!

Emily,
International Students and not eligible for federal aid. You would be considered for any merit based scholarships, but it is very limited for international students.
