World Cup Tournament

Posted by Campus Rec on October 28, 2009;

That time of the year has come again, and I predict the best match to be with USA and Brazil! If you’re kind of lost, I am talking about the annual semester World Cup. This is a very popular event through Campus Rec and the ISSS (International Student and Scholar Services) where students sign up as teams from various countries and compete for the ultimate prize, the Indoor World Cup IX Trophy! You can come out and see USA, China, Iran-US, Colombia, Turkey, Peru, India, Turkey II, India A, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, USA II , Brazil, Spain, Nigeria, and Sweden battle it out from November 6th through the 8th. Or if you are very, very interested, you can sign up a six person team on the waiting list in case one of the current teams drops out. Either way, come out and support your favorite team in one of the best recreational events this semester!
