My name is Zoe, and I'm an Admissions Counselor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (or Illinois for short). I help both freshman and transfer undergraduate students and their families navigate through the college application and admission process. I'm originally from southeastern Michigan, and I've been on campus since April of 2015.
Because I'm still new to Illinois, I'm also happy to tell you about my transition process—anything from finding new favorite restaurants to making new friends is fair game! I have become an expert in all things related to relocating.
I have a background not only in admissions but also in financial aid, so I can answer the majority of basic financial aid or Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) questions, too.
But before I quit talking (writing?) let’s talk a little bit more about the blog itself so that you can get to actually reading it. The blog is full of a lot of helpful information, from answers to frequently asked questions to stories from current students about their adventures here in Champaign-Urbana. If you have any questions about something that's written in one of my blogs, always feel free to leave a comment and I will answer it ASAP. Now go ahead and get to reading!
